This policy explains what information Football Predictions collects when you use the app and this website, why, and the choices you have.
In short: there are no user accounts, we don’t sell personal information, your saved tips stay on your phone, and ads and analytics come from Google services you can control.

Who we are
Football Predictions is published by Flagout Limited (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at flagoutlimited@gmail.com.
Information we collect
Stored on your device
Your saved tips, your settings (such as theme and alert preferences), the days you have unlocked and a copy of recent tips are stored on your device so the app works quickly and offline. This stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app.
When the app loads tips
The app downloads tips, scores and app settings from our servers. As with any website, our hosting provider receives technical information with each request, such as your IP address, device type and app version, and keeps it in server logs for a limited time for security and troubleshooting. These requests are not linked to your name or contact details.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging gives your device a push token so we can send alerts such as “Today’s top picks are ready”. Alerts go to everyone who has them switched on, and we do not store your token ourselves. You can turn alerts off in the app (Profile, Top picks alerts) or in your phone’s settings.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used, for example which screens are opened, when a top pick is unlocked or when a subscription starts. It collects an app instance identifier, device and app details, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We look at this information in aggregate to improve the app.
Advertising
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, device information and how you interact with ads, to show and measure ads and, where you allow it, to personalise them. Where the law requires consent, including in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for it first using Google’s consent form. On iPhone, we ask for permission to track through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt and use the advertising identifier only if you allow it.
Purchases
Premium subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple or Google, and we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to confirm and manage subscriptions; it receives purchase receipts, the products bought and an anonymous app user identifier.
Crash and performance reports
If the app crashes or runs slowly, Expo (EAS Observe) receives a report with technical details such as device model, operating system version, app version and the error that occurred, so we can fix the problem.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include. When you use Contact developer in the app, the email is pre-filled with your app version, device model and operating system version to help us answer; you can remove them before sending.
On this website
The public pages of this website do not use cookies, analytics or advertising. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security. The staff-only admin area uses strictly necessary cookies to keep authorised staff signed in, and staff sign-in codes are sent by email.
How we use information
- To provide the app: show tips, scores and results, and keep your saved tips and settings.
- To send the notifications you have switched on.
- To show and measure ads in the free version, in line with your choices.
- To provide and restore Premium subscriptions.
- To understand how the app is used, fix crashes and improve it.
- To answer your messages and keep the service secure.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Legal bases
Where data protection law, such as Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019 or the GDPR, requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on:
- Consent for personalised advertising, tracking on iPhone and notifications. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Contract to provide Premium after you subscribe.
- Legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the app (server logs, crash reports and analytics) and in answering your messages, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run Football Predictions. Each processes it under its own terms and privacy policy:
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or ourselves, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
Your advertising choices
- In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, change your consent anytime in the app: Profile, Privacy & ad choices.
- On iPhone, allow or stop tracking in Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking.
- On Android, reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings (usually under Privacy, Ads).
- Premium removes ads from the app entirely.
International transfers
Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States and the European Union; our database is hosted in Ireland. Where the law requires, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep information
- On your device: until you delete the app or clear its data.
- Server logs: for a limited period, then deleted by our hosting provider.
- Analytics, advertising, crash and subscription data: according to each provider’s retention settings.
- Emails: as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the conversation.
- Staff sign-in details: until the person no longer needs access to the admin area.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, to object to or restrict its processing, to receive a copy in a portable format and to withdraw consent. Because the app has no accounts, most information is linked to device identifiers rather than your name, so we may ask for details that help us find it.
To make a request, email flagoutlimited@gmail.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Kenya this is the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Children
Football Predictions is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and providers with recognised security practices. Staff reach the admin area only with one-time codes sent to approved email addresses. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or the law changes. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or on this page.
